Okay, here are the last few details for the finish line this Saturday.
I’ll be shooting to arrive at the intersection of Kelly Avenue and Balboa Boulevard in Half Moon Bay at 12:30. For those who’d like to walk the last half mile or so with me to the beach from there, that’s the meeting point. Click here for a cool map put together by my friend, Henry. The end-end will be where the Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail hits the beach, so feel free to wait there, too. When we arrive on the sands, some family and friends will lead a closing ceremony of sorts – Mom and the Paisanos from Navajo have plans. And then the big dip! After that, my hope is that we’ll hang for awhile, snack (don’t forget to bring a li’l dish), celebrate and get to know each other. It’ll be an amazing gathering of people, let’s enjoy our time together.
Click here to go to the Facebook page for final details as I won’t have my phone on starting tomorrow morning.
Also, for those of you on the east coast, we’ll be having another fiesta when I get back home to Chadds Ford, PA. More details on that to come later, but if you’re free on October 6th, mark your calendars!
45 more miles.

Hi Andrew,
It is Christine who works with your Aunt Mary Ellen. My boyfriend Chris and I have been following your walk from the start. You spent an evening last summer with my sister Lorraine and her husband Jeff in Marshfield when you were working the lobster boats. We have so enjoyed reading your posts and have laughed and cried while reading them. Your are blessed with the authors pen when you journal. You are one courageous and wonderful soul who has a purpose in this world that started with your travels and will continue a lifetime. I look forward to meeting you in the future. (How far is a walk from your home to our home in Michigan)?
We wish we could walk the last half mile with you…….yet we will be with you in spirit.
